The Log Cabin is a completely self-contained unit for two people.  It has its own kitchenette comprising of a mini fridge, cooker-hob, microwave/oven and sink.  You’ll find a selection of pots and pans for the hob and a toaster is provided for that all important morning breakfast toast, along with the necessary cutlery and crockery that you will also need.  Tea towels and oven gloves are also provided.

To the right of the kitchen is a small lounge/dining area which has a two seater sofa.  There is a waist-height pull-down wooden table with two stools underneath which can be used as a breakfast bar if too cold to sit outside on the decking.  This area also houses the delightful hobbit woodburner and there is a wall mounted colour television with remote control. 

On the decking there is a dining area with table and chairs provided for eating meals outside (should the weather and the time of year permit this).  The outside decking overlooks the By Brook which is home to many beautiful wild birds including the Kingfisher and the very elusive Dipper.  Outside lighting is on a sensor for when darkness falls, although there is a permanent outside light too, which is not on a sensor.

The bedroom area consists of a standard sized (4′ 6″) double bed which has a goose-down duvet.  The pillows are not goose down.  Bedding is provided and there are reading lamps on both sides of the bed on the bedside tables.  There is plenty of room in the wardrobe for hanging clothes and for shoes and also case storage.

The bathroom consists of a toilet, wash-basin and a shower.  Bath and hand towels are provided but hair shampoos and conditioners are not – as we tend to feel that these are always more of a personal choice.  We do provide hand-wash in the bathroom and also in the kitchen. 

The log cabin is a non-smoking establishment.
